Bochum
The motto of the exhibition is residential architecture in Bochum. A topic that affects practically everyone - living is a basic human need. City planners and architects have created the appropriate structural framework for this and change it every day. Architects create the space, possibly the place of retreat and longing, which is filled with life differently by each person.
The exhibition of members of the Bochum photo club "FFF-Forum für Fotografie" shows a cross-section of examples of residential architecture in Bochum. In addition to the creative aspirations of the six photographers, the exhibition also provides answers to the question of how citizens experience and represent their own city. Despite the same task, the photographers have taken a different look at the subject. The complexity of the subject makes the exhibition both good and less successful examples of residential architecture - from a smart home to an anonymous large housing estate.
Whether subjective, documentary or formal, the visual worlds of the participating photographers always speak a personal language and show their individual view of residential architecture in Bochum.
