Since 1980 the Eulenspiegel, opened in 1955 and listed as a historical monument, has been a cinematic art theatre. With 400 seats, the Eulenspiegel is one of the largest in the country and has a 100 m² screen as well as the latest digital technology and classic 35mm and 70mm projection for real monumental cinema.
Kino68 will be followed by Kino69!
The Essener Filmkunsttheater and the Filmkunst und Kinokultur Essen e.V. show in the Kino69 series on the occasion of the German cinema premiere of international film classics from 1969.
Before the start of each film there is a short introduction.
